About ChannelTally

ChannelTally is a web application for freelance YouTube channel managers, agencies, and in-house teams who operate channels on behalf of someone else. Instead of signing in to several YouTube Studio accounts each morning, you connect the channels you are authorized to manage and work across all of them in one place.

After you sign in with Google and grant access, ChannelTally reads your channel list, video inventory, and performance statistics using the official YouTube Data API, YouTube Analytics API, and YouTube Reporting API. It uses that data to show cross-channel analytics, surface daily content research, and help you draft titles, descriptions, tags, and outlines. With your permission it can also upload videos and update video metadata and thumbnails on the channels you connected.

Every change that would alter something on YouTube is first shown to you as an explicit before-and-after approval, and executes only once you confirm it. Every approval is recorded in an audit log so you can show a client exactly what changed and when. We request permissions gradually — read-only access when you connect, and publishing permissions only at the moment you first use a feature that needs them.

You can disconnect a channel at any time, which schedules deletion of that channel’s stored data, and you can export or permanently delete your entire workspace from Settings.
